Process for Selecting Cohorts. Cohorts will be selected in the following manner: • Every 5 years in winter quarter full-time tenured faculty will meet to identify professional development topics. Individual faculty members will self-organize into cohorts of 3 – 5 people based on topic. • Newly tenured faculty members will join an existing cohort of choice until the new cycle.
Process for Selecting Cohorts. Cohorts will be selected in the following manner: • Every 5 years in winter quarter there will be a meeting of all full-time tenured faculty members. The meeting will be conducted to determine the cohorts. • Individual faculty members will identify major professional development learning themes linked to SPSCC’s Core Themes. The identified learning themes will be posted on walls throughout the meeting space. Faculty members interested in working with others on a theme will gather under the posted learning theme. Faculty will then self-organize into cohorts of 3- 5 people. The cohorts will remain together for 5 years. • Newly tenured faculty members will join an existing cohort of choice until the new cycle.
