Common use of PRO-RATED CONTRACTS Clause in Contracts

PRO-RATED CONTRACTS. The College and the part-time/adjunct faculty member may, by the end of the first week of a term, mutually agree on a pro-rated contract for classes that are below the current minimum class size required of full-time faculty. Pro-rated contracts shall be calculated in the following manner: (actual class size/ minimum FT class size) x 100. At no time will a pro-rated contract fall below 50 percent of the faculty member’s scheduled salary. Minimum class size for continuing any class may vary due to special circumstances as determined by the College.
