Private Practice Cost Allowance. (a) If a sessional practitioner has demonstrated the incurrence of private practice costs outside the hospital, the practitioner will be paid a Private Practice Cost Allowance on each session, up to and including five sessions across the WA Health System. The prescribed allowance is payable from the first pay period on or after the specified date: On and from registration of this Agreement On and from 03-Sept-2025 On and from 03-Sept-2026 $86.08 $57.39 $28.69 (b) A sessional practitioner must demonstrate the incurrence of private practice costs annually. (c) Unless under Arrangement A, a sessional practitioner who does not qualify for the Private Practice Cost Allowance will be paid an allowance commensurate with the following percentage of the applicable sessional Base Salary rate, payable from the first pay period on or after the specified date: On and from registration of this Agreement On and from 03-Sept-2025 On and from 03-Sept-2026 (d) No Private Practice Cost Allowance is payable for sessions worked in excess of five per week provided that a sessional practitioner who was, immediately prior to the date of commencement of PSAAG 5 of 2016, engaged for more than five sessions per week across the WA Health System and was paid the allowance will continue to be paid the allowance on all sessions. (e) No Private Practice Cost Allowance is payable for sessions which attract any shift or weekend penalty payment specified in this Agreement. (a) The provisions of subclause (7) cease to have effect on and from 2 September 2027. (b) The parties to this Agreement agree that subclauses (7) and (8) pertaining to Private Practice Cost Allowance will be removed from any replacement agreements to this Agreement.
