Primary conjunctivitis. This is an inflammation of the conjunctiva—the membrane lining the inside of the eyelids and sides of the eyeball. This condition does not include: (1) corneal disease or ulceration, (2) disease of the lacrimal system, eyelid, or eyeball, or (3) any condition caused by or associated with feline upper respiratory disease complex.
