Common use of Price Increase Clause in Contracts

Price Increase. Subject to Section 4.6 of the General Conditions and this Section 6.9, DB Contractor shall be entitled to an increase in the Price as follows: (a) 50% of DB Contractor’s Reimbursable Karst Features Costs for Unknown Karst Features encountered by DB Contractor that exceed $500,000 but do not exceed $1,250,000; (b) 100% of Reimbursable Karst Features Costs for Unknown Karst Features encountered by DB Contractor that exceed $1,250,000; and (c) 100% of Reimbursable Karst Features Costs for Unknown Karst Features encountered on Additional Properties acquired as a result of a TxDOT-Directed Change. DB Contractor shall be responsible for all other costs related to karsts.
