Common use of PRESENTATION AND APPEARANCE Clause in Contracts

PRESENTATION AND APPEARANCE. An employee must take all reasonable care to maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene. Tattoos are not prohibited. An employee with a tattoo must keep it covered at all times. Body Jewellery, other than earrings whilst at work will be determined in light of the overall appearance of the employee by the Manager. Employees are expected to wear the company uniform, which shall be provided to them upon receipt of a refundable deposit. By written request, staff may have this deposit taken from their first pay. You must use your best endeavours to promote and enhance the interest, business, profitability and reputation of Lollipop’s Playland and Cafe. You must not intentionally do anything which is reasonably likely to be harmful to the business. It is vital that your conduct is at all times to the highest standard. This includes a commitment to satisfy the standards of honesty and fair trade at all times. You must adhere to the fundamental ethical practices and principles of this company as outlined in this agreement and other related documentation.
