Common use of Present Members Clause in Contracts

Present Members. The Company and the Union agree that all employees of the Company coming under the jurisdiction of the Union shall be members in good standing of such Union. The Company agrees to deduct from the wages of each employee; initiation fees, dues, and commonly levied assessments for the preceding month, and remit same month- ly to the Union. The Union will inform the Company in writing of the amounts to be deducted, and will hold the Company harmless with respect to any such deductions. The Company shall provide the Union with written notice of resignations, retirements, promotions and other changes in employee information through the provision of change notice forms.
