Common use of Preliminary Provisions Clause in Contracts

Preliminary Provisions. 1. Any Administrator who anticipated undergoing a state of disability such as, but not limited to surgery, hospital confinement, medical treatment, pregnancy, etc., may apply for an leave of absence based upon said anticipated disability in accordance with provisions hereinafter set forth. 2. Any Administrator anticipating a leave under the provisions of Anticipated Disability leave shall notify the Superintendent of Schools through his/her immediate supervisor as early as the Administrator is able. Any Administrator anticipating a disability leave arising out of a pregnancy shall provide such notification at least sixty (60) days prior to the anticipated birth except in cases of emergency.
