Common use of Practice of Medicine Clause in Contracts

Practice of Medicine. The parties acknowledge that Business Manager -------------------- is not authorized or qualified to engage in any activity that may be construed or deemed to constitute the practice of medicine. To the extent that any act or service required to be performed by Business Manager hereunder should be construed by a court of competent jurisdiction or by the Board of Medical Examiners of the Commonwealth of Virginia to constitute the practice of medicine, Business Manager's requirement to perform that act or service shall be deemed waived and unenforceable.
