POWERS IN ADDITION TO STATUTE. For each Series, the powers conferred by this Deed in relation to all or any of the Secured Property in respect of such Series on the Trustee or on any Receiver of all or any of the Secured Property shall be in addition to and not in substitution for the powers conferred on mortgagees or receivers under the Law of Property Act 1925 and the Insolvency Act 1986 and where there is any amxxxxxxx or conflict between xxx xxxxrs contained in such Act and those conferred by these presents the terms of these presents shall prevail.

  • Compliance with Federal and State Work Authorization and Immigration Laws The Contractor and all subcontractors, suppliers and consultants must comply with all federal and state work authorization and immigration laws, and must certify compliance using the form set forth in Section 7 (“Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavits”). The required certificates must be filed with the Owner and copied maintained by the Contractor as of the beginning date of this contract and each subcontract, supplier contract, or consultant contract, and upon final payment to the subcontractor or consultant. State officials, including officials of the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts, officials of the Owner, retain the right to inspect and audit the Project Site and employment records of the Contractor, subcontractors and consultants without notice during normal working hours until Final Completion, and as otherwise specified by law and by Rules and Regulations of the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts.

  • Waiver of Stay, Moratorium and Similar Rights Mortgagor agrees, to the full extent that it may lawfully do so, that it will not at any time insist upon or plead or in any way take advantage of any appraisement, valuation, stay, marshalling of assets, extension, redemption or moratorium law now or hereafter in force and effect so as to prevent or hinder the enforcement of the provisions of this Mortgage or the indebtedness secured hereby, or any agreement between Mortgagor and Mortgagee or any rights or remedies of Mortgagee.
