Power Test Clause Samples
Power Test. Each year in May (or as otherwise agreed), a power test will be scheduled. The power test will be administered by the Sheriff or his designee. All employees may elect to take the power test (which will be identical to the power test utilized by the State Training Board for new recruits). Each employee will be allowed one attempt annually to pass the power test. Any employee who elects to take the power test and passes shall receive $150.00. If an employee attempts the test and fails, he/she will not receive the $150.00, but will not be penalized or disciplined for failing. Employees taking the annual power test shall not be eligible for any overtime pay for taking the test.
Power Test. The Power test shall be given two times per year and any officer who successfully completes the Power Test shall receive eighteen (18) hours of pay per test. Any officer who unsuccessfully completes the Power Test shall receive three (3) hours of pay per test.
Power Test. It is mutually agreed that the results of the P.O.W.E.R. test for employees hired after July 1, 2002 and that the results of an annual fitness assessment (as determined by the College) prior to July 1, 2002 would be used in the annual performance appraisal as an evaluative measure of physical conditioning and ability to perform the Police Department function. If such employee does not pass the P.O.W.E.R. test or the annual fitness assessment, he/she shall not be terminated from employment solely for failure to pass such test. It is also mutually agreed that the College will provide appropriate training prior to testing for all of the required annual proficiencies.
Power Test. The Power Test shall be offered on a voluntary basis twice per year (April and September). Any officer who successfully completes the Power Test shall receive twelve (12) hours of compensatory time per test.

Power Test. The current Illinois State Police Standard Power Test shall be offered to all employees at least one time in each twelve (12) month period. The four (4) parts to this test are, sit- ups, bench press, bend and reach, and one and one half (1-½) mile run or a recognized alternative aerobic test. The employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time for a passing score in all the events. The total maximum time given shall be twelve (12) hours, four hours for test taking and eight hours for passing the Power Test. No compensation shall be given for the time used to take these tests.
