Common use of Posting of Notice Clause in Contracts

Posting of Notice. Notice of all job vacancies shall be posted on bulletin boards in prominent locations at each District job site. The job vacancy notice shall remain posted for a period of at least ten (10) full working days. Any employee, who will be on leave or layoff on the date the position is posted, shall be mailed a copy of the notice by First Class Mail within forty- eight (48) hours of that date.
