Common use of Postdated Items Clause in Contracts

Postdated Items. You agree not to issue a postdated check and we may disregard such date on the item when it is presented for payment. We are authorized to pay any check prior to the date on the item even if you have given us notice that it is postdated. (See also the "Stop Payment Requests" subsection below.) If we agree to re-credit your Account after paying a postdated check you agree to transfer to us all of your rights against the payee or other holder of the check, and to assist in any legal action taken against that party.
