Post-Natal Leave. 26.3.1 On the occasion of the birth of a child, the child's parent who is not taking a Pregnancy Leave shall be entitled to a leave with full salary and, if applicable, benefits of up to five (5) consecutive days, to be taken at the discretion of the Member within four (4) weeks of the birth. A Member taking such leave shall give the Chair and ▇▇▇▇/University Librarian as much advance written notice as possible. 26.3.2 In the event of the death, serious illness, or incapacity of the child's mother, the provisions of Post- Natal Leave shall be those specified for the primary caregiver in 26.5.3.
