Common use of POSSESSION AND PERMITTED SUBLEASES Clause in Contracts

POSSESSION AND PERMITTED SUBLEASES. (a) During the Basic Term, Lessee will not, without the prior written consent of Lessor, sublease or otherwise in any manner deliver, transfer or relinquish possession of the Aircraft, the Airframe or any Engine, or install or permit to be installed any Engine on any airframe other than the Airframe, or to install or permit to be installed on the Airframe any engines other than the Engines (other than to the extent an Engine is receiving off-wing maintenance service). The wet lease or charter of the Aircraft shall not be considered a sublease; provided, however, that at all times, Lessee has operational control of the Airframe and Engines.
