Position Assignment. A Position Assignment is time worked by an employee in a given position within a Probation Service.
Position Assignment. An employee of twenty (20) or more years seniority may ask to be awarded a position which has been posted in his/her classification, and will be awarded the position provided he/she is the senior person to so apply. A maximum of twelve (12) such assignments will be made in a contract year, and no employee may make more than one (1) application in twelve (12) months.
