The Employer will determine when a position will be filled, the type of appointment to be used when filling the position and the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the specific position within a job. When a vacant position is changed to a different title and/or salary, the District will advise the Union of the change prior to the position being advertised.
