POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR SERVICE AUTHORIZATIONS AND PROCESSING REQUESTS. The TPA/HCO and its subcontractors shall have and comply with written policies and procedures in processing requests for initial and continuing authorization of services. These procedures shall guarantee the consistent application of review criteria for authorization decisions and consultation with the requesting provider, if necessary. Any decision to deny a service authorization request, or to authorize a service in an amount, duration, or scope that is less than requested, shall be made by a health care professional who has appropriate clinical expertise in treating the enrollee’s condition or disease. The TPA/HCO shall notify the requesting provider and give the enrollee written notice of any decision to deny a service authorization request, or to authorize a service in an amount, duration, or scope that is less than requested; provided, however, that such notice to the enrollee shall be sent whenever the service received by the enrollee was limited, in whole or in part. Although notice to the provider need not be in writing, the enrollee’s written notice shall meet the following requirements:

  • Compliance Policies and Procedures To assist the Fund in complying with Rule 38a-1 of the 1940 Act, BBH&Co. represents that it has adopted written policies and procedures reasonably designed to prevent violation of the federal securities laws in fulfilling its obligations under the Agreement and that it has in place a compliance program to monitor its compliance with those policies and procedures. BBH&Co will upon request provide the Fund with information about our compliance program as mutually agreed.

  • Performance and Compliance with Contracts and Credit and Collection Policy The Seller shall (and shall cause the Servicer to), at its expense, timely and fully perform and comply with all material provisions, covenants and other promises required to be observed by it under the Contracts related to the Receivables, and timely and fully comply in all material respects with the applicable Credit and Collection Policies with regard to each Receivable and the related Contract.
