Playoff Compensation. The paid coaching staff of any team that advances beyond the first round of state competition will be paid an extra stipend of $100 per week for head coaches and $75 per week for designated assistant varsity coaches. The paid coaching staff of a football team that advances to the IHSA playoffs will be paid an extra stipend of $100 per week for head coaches and $75 per week for designated assistant varsity coaches. The Athletic Director has the discretion to approve the number of assistant coaches who will advance with the head coach.
