Planning and Engineering. (FC 110) The Engineer shall perform the following work as included in specific Work Authorizations: • The Engineer shall determine the general physical inventory of the existing system in the region or designated location to be studied. The inventory shall include information regarding channel or waterway width and depth; size and depth of turning basins and maneuverability; dredging disposal areas; wetlands; port facilities including docks, wharves, trans-loading facilities, warehouses, storage yards, railroad infrastructure, bridges and other highway landside access roadways, and other applicable facilities. • The Engineer shall coordinate with local and regional governmental entities during the study or project to obtain local and regional input on the existing and projected growth trends for the study area and to help identify constraints in the maritime transportation network. • The Engineer shall coordinate and assist with public involvement throughout the study. This shall include coordinating stakeholder meetings and communications, developing presentations on study findings, and recommendations for public and steering committee meetings. DocuSign Envelope ID: 0676A6F7-693D-4599-842D-CA7EF8000E42 • The Engineer shall identify and contact large freight generators, ports and/or rail companies in the study area to obtain information on maritime operations and constraints within the study region or location. • The Engineer shall obtain and review previous studies conducted within the past five (5) years that are applicable to the study area and incorporate applicable and credible information as part of the study, planning, or report. Identify current and future maritime, waterway, channel, or port infrastructure needs including evaluations of expansion plans and/or master plans. • The Engineer shall collect public and private data (as available) and use it to evaluate current and future projected freight flows through Texas ports and on the landside roads, railroads, and pipelines connecting to them, by commodity group, tonnage, value, and origin-destination pair. The Engineer shall assess the capacity of the port and waterway system and landside transportation networks against this projected demand to identify needed improvements. • The Engineer shall collect operational and infrastructure data on the maritime network in the study area, including commodity types with origin and destination data, and utilize this information with appropriate computer m...

Planning and Engineering. Planning and engineering will commence immediately upon execution of this AGREEMENT and payment of SERVICE FEE to CITY. Barring any unforeseen delays, it is anticipated that planning and engineering will be complete on or before August 1, 2020. (4b) PROJECT Project within the CAMPUS will commence on or around September 1, 2020. Barring any unforeseen or unexpected delays, major activities are expected to be complete by November 30, 2020. Minor activities, including landscape repair and cleanup, may continue through December 31, 2020. CORPS should expect interruptions to water service sporadically during project.
Planning and Engineering. GCI will provide planning and engineering support to ensure that appropriate network services will be available to meet evolving Government requirements.   • Value Engineering The Supplier may prepare, at its own cost, a value engineering proposal at any time during the performance of the contract. The value engineering proposal shall, at a minimum, include the following;

  • Regulatory Affairs Development and production of medical products and processes fall under the purview of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and research on these products involving animal or human studies is regulated by other laws, directives, and regulations. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Training and Development 12.1 The parties are committed to, and acknowledge the mutual benefit to the employer and employee of planned human resource development and the provision and participation in relevant development opportunities (including accredited training).
