Plan expense allocation. The Plan Administrator may allocate plan expenses among the accounts of Plan Participants. The Plan Administrator has authority to allocate these expenses either proportionally based on the value of the Account Balances or pro rata based on the number of Participants in the Plan. The Plan Administrator will determine the proper method for allocating expenses in accordance with such reasonable rules as the Plan Administrator deems appropriate under the circumstances. Unless the Plan Administrator decides otherwise, the following expenses will be allocated to the Participant’s Account relative to which the expense is incurred: distribution expenses, including those relating to lump sums, installments, QDROs, hardship, in- service and required minimum distributions; loan expenses; participant direction expenses, including brokerage fees; and benefit calculations.
