Common use of Plainclothes Allowance Clause in Contracts

Plainclothes Allowance. (1) Every Police Officer on full-time plainclothes duty shall be entitled to receive a clothing allowance of one thousand dollars ($1000.00) per year payable in two (2) equal installments, on the last pay day of January and June. (2) Every Police Officer on part-time plainclothes duty shall be entitled to receive a clothing allowance of four dollars ($4.00) per day and any sum owing to a Police Officer on this account shall be paid to him on the last pay day of March, June, September, and December.
