PIPE SUPPORTS. The fabrication of metal pipe supports and the handling and installation of all pipe supports, pipe anchors and pipe guides, other than plain or reinforced concrete, poured in place, shall be performed by members of the U.A. It is not intended that such installation shall encompass the operation of equipment or vehicles.
PIPE SUPPORTS. New pipe or used pipe may be used. Pipe shall be ASTM A-53 Grade B or API 5L Grade B or equivalent as approved by Company.
PIPE SUPPORTS. A. Curb: Molded Recycled Rubber Type: KeyCurb Base, Model (RKCSN1) Molded Recycled Rubber pipe curb. Curb dimensions are 4.88” high - 6” wide - 10” long. Curb is to be used in the place of wood blocking for conduit supports. Type: KeyCurb Base , Model (KS) Designed to support piping up to 8” in diameter. Curb is to be used with strut clamps. Curb is a Model KC with a framing channel. Type: KeyCurb Strut Adjustable, Model (KSA) Designed to support piping up to 8” in diameter. Curb is to be used with strut clamps. Curb is a Model KC with a framing channel and adjustable with threaded rods. Type: KeyCurb Roller, Model (KR4) Designed to support piping up to 4” in diameter. Curb is a Model KCM with heavy duty rubber roller. Roller support will be used with water or gas piping for low profile pipe. Type: KeyCurb Roller Adjustable, Model (KRA4). Designed to support piping up to 4” in diameter. Curb is a Model KC with heavy duty rubber roller, adjustable with threaded rods. Roller support will be used with water or gas piping. Type: KeyCurb Bridge, Model (KCB) Designed to support all type of piping. Curb is to be used with strut clamps or roller accessories. Model KCB consists of two KeyCurbs and framing channel. Type: KeyCurb Bridge Adjustable, Model (KCBA). Designed to support all types of piping. Curb is to be used with strut clamps or roller accessories. Model KCBA consists of two KeyCurbs, framing channel, and four threaded rods. Type: KeyCurb Adjustable Bridge, Model (ASB). Designed to support piping up to 12". Four (4) KeyCurb Model KC9 with steel clevis and / or swivel hangers, adjustable with threaded rods. Hanger support will be used with water or gas piping. Type: KeyCurb Adjustable Support Model (AS). Designed to support piping and a/c ducts. Two (2) KeyCurbs Model KS with cross bar to suspend hangers or adjustable rollers placed on top of cross bar.
PIPE SUPPORTS. Formatted: Font: (Default) Arial, N Bold Contractor shall construct the precast pipe supports as per the fabrication and construction details on drawing number 12255-4-08-4-014. The pipe supports can be constructed on site and can after 10 days of curing be transported to the pipe support locations. There are two types of pipe support foundations. Type 1 foundations will be used in all areas where the slurry discharge lines are placed horizontally. Type 2 foundations will be used at side slopes 1 to 5.
PIPE SUPPORTS. Pipe shall be supported in pipe racks or “T” supports or other permanent support designs. “Sleeper” supports set on the ground shall not be used All pipe racks and supports shall have capability for at least one additional 12” insulated pipe, or one additional pipe of the largest size, if all pipes in the rack are smaller than 12”. The additional pipe must be able to be installed without moving the other pipes on the rack. Any deviations from this requirement must be submitted to Company for approval prior to final design documents being issued for construction.
PIPE SUPPORTS. TANK CONTRACTOR shall ensure that spring can stops remain in place at the cold load settings until directed to remove stops by PURCHASER.
PIPE SUPPORTS. Exclusively for the installation of freestanding pipe supports the applicable ratio of journeymen to apprentice shall be 1:2. When requested by the employer the Union agrees to provide first or second year apprentices. This ratio applies to installation only. For fabrication the Union agrees to put in place a competitive rate.
