Picks. Section 1. Runs, cover jobs and other assignments containing all known prospective work shall be posted for pick. Five (5) copies of the pick sheets shall be furnished to the Union at least five (5) days prior to the date of each pick and Employees shall pick assignments in accordance with their depattmental seniority. Employees who are absent because of illness shall be afforded an oppmtunity to pick by mail or telephone or written authorization by said party to the Union.
Picks. There shall be two (2) picks each year in the shop (one on January 1st for inter-garage pick and one on July 1st). The company shall designate the qualification and location and time for each slot and the most senior mechanics who qualify shall select their position from a list of current School Bus, Van, ADA & Transit. The July 1st Pick shall be for location and shift in accordance with existing shop practices.
Picks. Vacation picks will be granted by classification seniority among the employees in the same work location, provided however, the Department Head shall have the right to determine the number and scheduling of crews and employees who can be on vacation at any one time without hindering the operation of the Department. The Department will not designate any time or period during the calendar year when eligible employees would be prohibited from scheduling and taking vacation time. Employees shall make vacation picks at a time and in the man- ner currently provided for by their Department. The Department will respond to the employees’ request for specific vacation dates within a reasonable period of time after the request is made, but not more than fourteen (14) days from the date the request is re- ceived by the Department, except in cases where the request is made for a vacation to be scheduled within fourteen (14) days. The Department will not arbitrarily cancel an approved vacation selection absent a severe emergency situation caused by an act of God (e.g., snow, flood, storms), a severe manpower shortage which may seriously hinder the Department’s operations, or where an employee possesses a unique skill indispensable to the imme- diate performance of a Department’s operation. Any such cancel- lation of the vacation pick shall result in the payment of the vacation pay (thereby reducing the total of the employee’s accrued vacation time) plus payment to the employee of the appropriate pay rate for all hours worked as if it were a normal work day, or for a normal work day, whichever is greater, unless the employee voluntarily agrees to reschedule the vacation days lost. Cancellation of approved vacation requests which would result in serious provable financial loss to an employee shall occur only in the most extreme emergencies. In the event of such cancella- tion, the Employer will reimburse the employee for reasonable losses incurred as a direct result of the cancellation, (e.g., cost of rescheduling airline tickets, deposit forfeitures, and the like).
Picks. A. A “PICK” will be conducted three (3) times a year, mid-winter, end of spring and beginning of fall. Dates of the Pick will be mutually agreed in LRC, in consideration of the requirements set by King County Metro. The Pick will be conducted in accordance with Pick Protocol mutually developed and agreed to by the EMPLOYER and the UNION. The Pick will be held at an EMPLOYER facility. The UNION will administer the actual Pick procedure.

  • Shipments The Vendor shall ship, deliver or provide ordered products or services within a commercially reasonable time after the receipt of the order from the TIPS Member. If a delay in said delivery is anticipated, the Vendor shall notify TIPS Member as to why delivery is delayed and shall provide an estimated time for completion of the order. TIPS or the requesting entity may cancel the order if estimated delivery time is not acceptable or not as agreed by the parties.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. Such check meters shall be for check purposes only and shall not be used for the measurement of power flows for purposes of this Agreement, except as provided in Article 7.4 below. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee. The installation, operation and maintenance thereof shall be performed entirely by Developer in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Tickets 10.1 Notwithstanding any other provision in this Agreement you may only send:

  • Shipment Seller shall attempt to comply with, but will not guarantee, shipping date and loading and routing instructions. Seller reserves the right to allow or prorate shipments against all orders whenever, in its judgment, an oversold condition exists as to any particular product manufactured or sold by it. In the event of a default by Buyer, Seller may decline to make further shipments without waiving any of its rights under such order. If, despite such default, Seller elects to continue to make shipment, its action shall not constitute a waiver regarding, or otherwise diminish, Seller’s legal remedies with respect to such default or any future default. Any claims of Buyer for compensation due to the inability to deliver goods, or due to delays in delivery, shall be limited as set forth in Section 15 of these terms and conditions.

  • Baggage On the Closing Date, employees, agents or representatives of the Parties jointly shall make a written inventory of all baggage, boxes and similar items checked in or left in the care of any Starwood Entity at the Hotel, and Seller shall deliver to Purchaser the keys to any secured area which such baggage and other items are stored (and thereafter such baggage, boxes and other items inventoried shall be deemed the “Inventoried Baggage”). Purchaser shall be responsible for, and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Seller Indemnitees in accordance with ARTICLE XV from and against any Indemnification Loss incurred by any Seller Indemnitees with respect to any theft, loss or damage to any Inventoried Baggage from and after the time of such inventory, and any other baggage, boxes or similar items left in the care of Purchaser which was not inventoried by the Parties. Seller shall be responsible for, and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Purchaser Indemnitees in accordance with ARTICLE XV from and against any Indemnification Loss incurred by any Purchaser Indemnitees with respect to any theft, loss or damage to any Inventoried Baggage prior to the time of such inventory, and any other baggage, boxes or similar items left in the care of any Starwood Entity which was not inventoried by the Parties.

  • Packing 9.1 The supplier shall provide such packing of the goods as is required to prevent their damage or deterioration during transit to their final destination, as indicated in the contract. The packing shall be sufficient to withstand, without limitation, rough handling during transit and exposure to extreme temperatures, salt and precipitation during transit, and open storage. Packing, case size and weights shall take into consideration, where appropriate, the remoteness of the goods’ final destination and the absence of heavy handling facilities at all points in transit.

  • Calibration At the beginning and at the end of every measurement session, the entire acoustic measuring system shall be checked by means of a sound calibrator that fulfils the requirements of Class 1 sound calibrators according to IEC 60942:2003. Without any further adjustment, the difference between the readings shall be less than or equal to 0.5 dB(A). If this value is exceeded, the results of the measurements obtained after the previous satisfactory check shall be discarded.
