Physical Progress Clause Samples

The Physical Progress clause defines the requirements and procedures for tracking and reporting the advancement of work on a project. Typically, it obligates the contractor to provide regular updates or documentation demonstrating the percentage of work completed, often through progress reports, site inspections, or milestone achievements. This clause ensures that the project owner can monitor the contractor’s performance and verify that the project is proceeding according to schedule, thereby helping to identify delays early and maintain accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
