Physical Profile Sample Clauses
Physical Profile. In order to conduct the detailed analysis required for this study, a firm baseline must be established that reflects the extent of the existing multimodal freight system. We will rely on the Project Team’s existing GIS files to identify the key roadway, rail, and port assets. We will also identify major businesses (truck generators) by industry using ATRI truck GPS data (described in Section 1.2). All GIS data will be stored in shape (.shp) file format for use in other study tasks. CPCS reports and working papers make extensive use of visualization techniques – notably maps and related graphics – to communicate findings. The following figure provides examples of deliverables produced by CPCS for other studies, and the Project Team can expect that the Physical Profile and other supporting graphics and documents for this study will be produced in the same manner.
