Physical Disability a physical condition, including an anatomical loss or musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory or cardiovascular impairment, that results from injury, disease or congenital disorder and that significantly interferes with or significantly limits at least one major life activity of a person. In the context of physical disability, “major life activity” means self-care, performance of manual tasks unrelated to gainful employment, walking, receptive and expressive language, breathing, working, participating in educational programs, mobility other than walking, and capacity for independent living.
Physical Disability. An employee disqualified from performing assigned duties because of physical disability shall be offered another work assignment if physically able to perform such other duties, meets the competencies required, and provided a vacancy exists. If such vacancy exists, the Union agrees to waive the requirements of bidding in Article 6.
Physical Disability. 23.2 When it becomes necessary to restrict a locomotive engineer with seniority in another group other than as locomotive engineer on account of a physical disability, the representative of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers will co-operate with all concerned in an endeavour to place the employee so restricted in suitable employment.

Physical Disability. §1. In the event an employee with 20 years or more service becomes unable to perform his/her normal duties because of permanent partial physical disability (whether compensable otherwise or not), the City may provide him/her with such related work as the incapacitated employee can do.
