Persons Present. Either of the parties may have present at the meetings provided for in the foregoing steps, any person or persons they may consider necessary to the proper consideration and settlement of the grievance. It is understood that, except as otherwise specifically agreed to in writing by the Company, not more than three (3) employees of the Union’s choosing shall be paid by the Company for the time lost from their regular working hours while attending, Step 2 and Step 3 hearings and for one (1) employee while attending arbitration.
