PERSONAL FLOATATION DEVICES Clause Samples
The PERSONAL FLOATATION DEVICES clause establishes requirements for the provision and use of life jackets or similar safety equipment on vessels or during water-related activities. Typically, this clause specifies the types of approved devices that must be available, the minimum number required based on the number of passengers or crew, and the conditions under which they must be worn or accessible. Its core function is to ensure the safety of individuals by reducing the risk of drowning, thereby addressing liability and compliance with safety regulations.
