Permit Duration. (a) Unless the Village Administrative Authority otherwise stipulates, an approved permit shall be valid for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of issuance and all work must be completed prior to the expiration date of the permit. The Village Administrative Authority may extend the expiration date of the permit upon finding that such an extension will not cause an increase in erosion, sedimentation, or runoff. The Village Administrative Authority may further modify the plan if necessary to prevent any increase in sedimentation, erosion, or runoff resulting from any extension; (b) Permit time extension requests must be made in writing and received by the Zoning Administrator at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the permit. A request for a permit time extension shall include a statement explaining the need for a time extension and specify any necessary changes to the plan;
