Permanent Works refers to the works constructed and handed over to the employer in accordance with the contract, including engineering equipment.

Permanent Works. ▪ Excavation and fill ▪ Disposal of excavated material to an off site location to the approval of the Engineer ▪ Piling to the extent required as per Contractor’s designs ▪ Foundations ▪ Building structures & enclosures (including floors, structural frames, steelwork, walls, roofing and cladding, etc.) ▪ Building fitting-outs (including finishes, platforms, galleries, building services, furnishing, etc) but excluding furniture ▪ Building services including ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, sanitary, security and other services, incl. empty conduits for telephone, IT, CCTV, data systems and security control systems ▪ Design, installation and commissioning of master key system for all buildings and enclosed structures] ▪ Acoustic treatment of buildings ▪ Removal of all the Contractor’s equipment, surplus materials, scrap and rubbish from the Site during and on completion of the buildings works.
