Permanent Pavement Marking Clause Samples
The Permanent Pavement Marking clause establishes the requirements for installing durable, long-lasting markings on road surfaces as part of a construction or maintenance project. It typically specifies the types of materials to be used, such as thermoplastic or epoxy, the locations and patterns for the markings, and the standards for visibility and durability. This clause ensures that road markings are applied correctly and remain effective over time, thereby enhancing road safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
Permanent Pavement Marking. Developer shall ensure that the design and installation of all pavement markings comply with applicable TMUTCD requirements. Developer shall mark median noses of all raised islands and inside edges of exclusive turn lanes (channelized curbs) in accordance with the requirements of TMUTCD.
Permanent Pavement Marking. Before placing any permanent pavement markings, Developer shall provide TxDOT a layout indicating the proposed location of such items.
