Performance Review Structure. The performance review structure will include the ability for employees to review their direct supervisor, department head, and any individual on the senior management team or executive team (“bottom-up reviews”). In order to ensure honest feedback and prevent the possibility of any retaliation, employees shall have the ability to conduct bottom-up reviews in such a way that their confidentiality will be protected. All staff members who are asked by the supervisor to weigh in on an employee’s performance will be clearly identified to the employee prior to an employee filling out their self-evaluation. Only individuals who have directly supervised the employee during the evaluation period shall participate in the employee’s evaluation, unless otherwise agreed to by the committee.
