PERFORMANCE AND AUDITS Sample Clauses
The PERFORMANCE AND AUDITS clause establishes the right of one party, typically the client or contracting authority, to review and assess the other party’s compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards. This clause often allows for scheduled or surprise inspections, access to relevant records, and the ability to request documentation or conduct on-site audits. Its core function is to ensure transparency and accountability, helping to identify and address issues early, and to verify that services or deliverables meet agreed-upon requirements.

Any con- tract or subcontract awarded in accordance with subparagraph (A), whether funded in whole or in part with Federal-aid highway funds, shall be performed and audited in compliance with cost principles contained in the Federal Acquisition Regulations of part 31 of title 48, Code of Federal Regulations.
