Common use of Performance Adjustment Clause in Contracts

Performance Adjustment. One-twelfth of the annual Performance Adjustment Rate will be applied to the average of the net assets of the Portfolio (computed in the manner set forth in the Fund's Declaration of Trust or other organizational document) determined as of the close of business on each business day throughout the month and the performance period.

Performance Adjustment. The resulting dollar amount is deducted from the basic fee. No Performance Adjustment will be made after the last calendar day of the 18 calendar month period beginning on July 1, 1999.
