PERB Jurisdiction. The City and the Union agree that Correctional Officer Supervisors assigned to Unit UH1 are “peace officers” as defined in California Penal Code Section 831.55, and consequently, under California Government Code Section 3511, they are not excluded from the jurisdiction of the Public Employment Relations Board.
PERB Jurisdiction. The City and the Union agree that correctional officers assigned to Unit C1 are covered by the jurisdiction of the Public Employment Relations Board.
