Common use of Peer Review Clause in Contracts

Peer Review. Upon a request for peer review from an officer or Radiologist performing services on behalf of the Practice, VRC, through its medical board, shall arrange for a review by a qualified professional or professionals in the same or similar specialty as the Radiologist under review. VRC’s medical board shall report the results of such review to the officer or agent of the Practice and provide assistance to the Practice to implement recommendations, follow-up and fulfill reporting obligations, if any. Practice acknowledges that, in connection with such peer review activities, it may be necessary to provide VRC with Protected Health Information and Practice and VRC agree to treat such information in accordance with Article 9.
