PDL – Transfer. In addition to or in lieu of a leave of absence, an employee with a pregnancy-related disability may request a transfer to a different position. Such a request must be accompanied with a certification from the employee’s health care provider that such a transfer is medically advisable. If a position is available for which the employee is qualified and the transfer request can be reasonably accommodated, the Human Resources Director will grant the transfer request.
