Common use of Payroll Taxes Clause in Contracts

Payroll Taxes. Contractor acknowledges that it is responsible for and will pay to the appropriate authority, and will indemnify and hold United harmless from, any and all federal or state payroll taxes, FICA, unemployment tax, state unemployment compensation contribution, disability benefit payments, insurance costs and any other assessments or charges which relate directly or indirectly to the employment by Contractor of Contractor’s employees. United acknowledges that it is responsible for and will pay to the appropriate authority, and will indemnify and hold Contractor harmless from, any and all federal or state payroll taxes, FICA, unemployment tax, state unemployment compensation contribution, disability benefit payments, insurance costs and any other assessments or charges which relate directly or indirectly to the employment by United of United’s employees.
