Common use of Payroll Dates Clause in Contracts

Payroll Dates. The Union recognizes that the City has the authority to change payroll dates so long as: a. The change is made to standardize payroll dates for all employees b. The employer shall give employees as much notice as possible, but no less than 60 days. c. Employees will be allowed to sell back up to one (1) week of vacation and/or holiday accruals during the transition of payroll dates. d. No more than one change to pay dates per calendar year.
