Payments for Basic Services. 9.2.1 Applications for payment for Basic Services shall provide sufficient detail to enable the Owner to track the work performed during the payment period and shall be in a format easily understood by the Owner. Payment shall be on a monthly basis per submitted invoices, which must include an itemization of all costs and services provided. Progress payments shall be made in proportion to services rendered and shall be due and owing within thirty days of the Architect’s submittal of its monthly invoice. The Owner agrees to make every effort to reimburse the Architect at the earliest opportunity in accordance with school district procedures for approving such obligations and issuing the necessary school district warrants. 9.2.2 No deductions shall be made from the Architect’s compensation on account of penalty, liquidated damages or other sums withheld from payments to Contractor or subcontractors.
