Common use of PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS Clause in Contracts

PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. Employees who are directed by the Employer to forego rest periods or meal breaks shall, in addition to being compensated for time worked, in lieu of a break or breaks, receive an additional sum equal to the amount of the lost break or breaks to a maximum of thirty (30) minutes per shift.
