Pay Rules a. Sick time will not be considered time worked for calculating overtime in any given week. Employees signed for the overtime list and wishing to work a rest day after being sick will be paid at basic straight time for that day.

Pay Rules. 5.1 The pay rules that apply to this Agreement (including Ship discharges) are detailed in Appendix B.
5.2 Annualised Pay
5.3 The annualised pay described in this subsection and itemised in Appendix B encompasses all pay and allowances made to an employee whilst working in the manufacture and distribution of Company products at the Plants.
5.4 The annualised pay is based on 35 ordinary hours per week, 5 additional overtime hours and shift penalties and shift allowances, as applicable (this is referred to in this Agreement as 40hr/week annualised pay.
5.5 Where an employee is required to work outside of their assigned roster the “Exceptional Hours Overtime Hourly Rate” provided in Appendix B – Section 1.1 shall apply to all hours worked.
5.6 In the event that alternative rosters other than those provided in Part C – Section 4 are developed, the annualised salaries will be recalculated in accordance with Appendix B – Section 4.
5.7 Any work or pay exceptions are detailed elsewhere within this Agreement.
