Parties Involved. 3.1 This Agreement is between the State of Queensland acting through the Department of Education and Training in particular via Cavendish Road SHS (hereafter called “the School”) and the Parent/Guardian in relation to provision of computer equipment to the Student. 3.2 The Student has been accepted into the School 1 to 1 Laptop Program (years 7-9 only) for the remainder of the Student Resource Agreement. 3.3 In exchange for the Parent/Guardian complying with this Agreement, the Student Resource Scheme – 1 to 1 Laptop Program provides the Student with a laptop computer for educational use at school and home. 3.4 The equipment is provided to the Student and remains the property of the School at all times. The student is responsible for the safe keeping at all times of the laptop. Parents are responsible for the supervision of the laptop outside school hours. 3.5 This Agreement outlines the roles and responsibilities in relation to the Student Resource Scheme (years 7-9 only) – Student 1 to 1 Laptop Program and the terms and conditions which binds the parties during the term of the provision of the equipment.
