Partial or Single Shift Reassignment Guidelines. When it is necessary to reassign staff from one (1) unit to another unit for a shift, the sequence below will be followed in all cases, provided the nurse has the appropriate skill set and subject to operational requirements of the sending and receiving units: (a) Voluntary basis (b) Agency (c) Float Pool by order of reverse seniority (d) Casual/regular part-time and temporary full-time nurses by order of reverse seniority (e) Full-time nurses by order of reverse seniority The hospital will endeavour not to reassign nurses during their probationary period to units other than their assigned units. Any reassignment will be in accordance with the provisions of Article 10.07 (g) and 10.08 (a)
