Part-time Employees’ Holiday Entitlement Sample Clauses
Part-time Employees’ Holiday Entitlement. Part-time employees are entitled to holiday pay (or time off as provided in Article 17.03) for each paid holiday on a prorated basis according to their Full-Time Equivalency (FTE). The Holiday Entitlement shall be calculated by multiplying the employee’s FTE by seven (7) hours in the case of a full holiday, or three and one-half (3.5) hours in the case of a half-day holiday. For example, if an employee is 0.7 FTE, she is entitled to four (4) hours fifty-four (54) minutes for a full day holiday. This is calculated by 0.7 x 7 hours = 4.9.
