Panels and Openings. Panels and openings must be of sufficient quantity, size, and placement to permit ready access from normal work areas and positions without adversely impacting LRT operations. Adjustment controls and fittings must be directly accessible through panels and openings. Self-retaining fasteners must be used wherever possible. Special access opening tools must not be used unless considered necessary to prevent vandalism.
