Overtime Allocation. Overtime and weekend work shall be divided as equally as possible among the employees of the unit or building who are capable to perform the work available. A current up-to-date duty roster shall be maintained by the non-bargaining unit supervisor and the employees shall have access to it.

Overtime Allocation. For all employees, overtime shall be defined as either continuation of the workday, scheduled overtime, call-out or standby.

If no qualified employee in the classification on the shift volunteers for the work, the Employer may request volunteers from higher classifications, based on seniority, to perform the work. If no qualified employee volunteers for the work, the Employer can require the least senior qualified employee, within the classification, on the shift, to perform the available work.
Overtime Allocation. A. Those employees who elect compensatory time off in lieu of overtime payment may build a bank of 80.0 hours of compensatory time. In no case may an employee earn more than 80.0 hours of compensatory time on one calendar year. When an employee has reached the maximum of 80.0 hours, all overtime will be paid as overtime pay in accordance with the current contract. When the decision is made to take overtime as compensatory time, this time will not be allowed to be cashed in any time during the year or converted to dollars at any time except for severance pay. An employee will be allowed to carry-over a maximum of 40.0 hours per year. All carry-over will be counted towards the bank for that year. If you earn 80.0 hours in one year, you have to use 40.0 hours as one block.
