Common use of Overbase Clause in Contracts

Overbase. In the event that a Graduate Worker paid on an hourly basis voluntarily agrees to work more than twenty (20) hours in one week, and such agreement is approved by the Supervisor, the Graduate Worker's additional time shall be compensated at a rate one and a half (1.5) times greater than their normal effective hourly rate.
