Overall Housing Program. The Development Plan contemplates a proposed redevelopment project with a total residential program of 7,540 residential units, although up to 8,000 units may be permitted. The proposed residential program consists of a range of unit types and sizes and provides a range of affordability levels located in a variety of building structure types. The total number of housing units includes 30% affordable units (estimated at approximately 2,260 units) at a spectrum of income levels, of which at least 6% (included in the 30%) will be affordable to very-low income residents, and 70% market rate units. Affordable housing units will be generally distributed throughout the various areas of the Property designated for residential use.
